2012

It’s Halftime in America. And our second half is about to begin. All that matters now is looking ahead and finding a way forward. Be a part of it at YouTube.com Full script of Official 2012 Chrysler Super Bowl ad follows below: It’s halftime. Both teams are in their locker room discussing what they can do to win this game in the second half. It’s halftime in America, too. People are out of work and they’re hurting. And they’re all wondering what they’re going to do to make a comeback. And we’re all scared, because this isn’t a game. The people of Detroit know a little something about this. They almost lost everything. But we all pulled together, now Motor City is fighting again. I’ve seen a lot of tough eras, a lot of downturns in my life. And, times when we didn’t understand each other. It seems like we’ve lost our heart at times. When the fog of division, discord, and blame made it hard to see what lies ahead. But after those trials, we all rallied around what was right, and acted as one. Because that’s what we do. We find a way through tough times, and if we can’t find a way, then we’ll make one. All that matters now is what’s ahead. How do we come from behind? How do we come together? And, how do we win? Detroit’s showing us it can be done. And, what’s true about them is true about all of us. This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world is going to hear the roar of our engines. Yeah, it’s halftime America. And

  3. Eric Saunders says:

Can’t you all see?! These party debates are exactly the “fog, division, discord and blame” mentioned in the video! We are not Republicans and Democrats, we are AMERICANS! Stop blaming the other side and help your fellow countrymen out.

  4. Trexcision says:

Detroit is simply the best city in the world.

  5. hyperacti says:

Want: American car that isn’t built to break

  6. tsahiasher says:

If Chrysler will go on building giant fuel sucking trucks and SUVs, there won’t be a second half. As the fuel prices go up, the cars size must go down.
When was the last time Chrysler, or any American car manufacturere, sold a car with 1,300cc engine? Such cars are sold by the thousands every year in Europe.

  7. pistolman49 says:

Who ever said this commercial is Obama propaganda because this company was bailed out is a lier. It is standard conservative, not republican tactics to see that Obama is not reelected. The conservatives still want to see they still have their seatings in congress. In the words of Franklin Roosevelt, “we have nothing to fear but fear it’s self”.

  8. rspfeifle says:

Before you think of Buying a Dodge you should know that My RAM Truck was made in MEXICO, Look in the door and see where they are made. Imported from Detroit is a LIE!!!!

  15. 420Tame says:

The American people who build Chrysler’s profit, and that is all that matters.

  16. 943finger9 says:

But since FIAT owns it, profits go overseas while FORD’s stays here in the US.
    .

  17. 420Tame says:

chrysler is an american car though

  18. 943finger9 says:

FORD, BUILT WITHOUT YOUR TAX DOLLARS
    .

  23. gizmoGeek100 says:

Chrysler has already paid back their LOAN, and last I heard Fiat own now every last share the US had, meanwhile this kept hundreds of Americans employed. So read the news once and a while.
Ford did not need a bail out because about 2 years before the recessions when Ford itself had money issues it found a pile of creditors to bail it out…

FORD, BUILT WITHOUT YOUR TAX DOLLARS
