@Euromotion The oldest person to be caught “street racing” was 85 driving his Oldsmobile Intrigue. Its a newer law only about 5 yrs old, personally I’m not a fan with flow of traffic on any highway in the Toronto area ranging from 120 to 140 km/h its very easy to hit that 150km/h mark and put yourself in some serious debt.
street racing is more than just a fine now anybody caught actually street racing or anyone going 50 km/h over the limit get busted for “street racing”. Punishment is up to $10,000 fine, suspended licsense for a minimum of a week and immediate confiscation of your car where ever you are. you are also liable for all the towing fees and the week of storage fees at the tow yard.
So basically Toyota’s telling us that the Camry’s a bit gay? Already knew that, but thanks, I guess…

I’m from Toronto & our “Street Racing” laws are ridiculous. It’s all completely unfair in penalties, and biased towards anyone who has a ‘suspect car’. I get pulled over in my own neighbourhood with my STi for being ‘suspect’ in a STOCK ‘souped-up car’. It’s ridiculous and somebody needs to change it. You guys are all lucky
